Dale the Dragon Detective:

 Murder at Dungeon Mountain

This was the last game developed by Raveyard at The Game Assembly. It was worked on fulltime for 8 weeks and was made in the same custom engine as Spite: Into the Ratacombs.

I worked on the AI behaviours using the same state machine that I built the year before but with some updates, including different types of idling states like sweeping the floor and wandering around, contributing to making the game world feel more alive and less like the NPCs are just waiting for the player to come talk to them.

I also did some work on the player behaviours as they used the same state machine implementation as the NPCs.


The game was awarded by Swedish Game Awards in 2021 with Best Technical Execution, Gamers' Choice, and Best Execution in Audio.
